How to Build a Great Interact 2018 Abstract

The Interact 2018 Call for Presentations closes on February 2, 2018.  Do you have a topic that you want to submit but not sure what to include in the submission abstract?  We have pulled together some helpful tips to submitting a session to put your best work out there.

Abstract Tips

Process Revolution gave some great advice for your submission.  "A conference abstract can typically include four sections that answer at least four questions. The sections include Background, Approach, Findings, and Conclusion. At a minimum, answer the questions that correspond to these four sections:"

  • Background: Why did you do this?
  • Approach: What did you do?
  • Findings: What did you learn or discover?
  • Conclusion: What does it mean?

Still stumped?  Please contact your community chair with your idea and they can help you write an abstract to frame your presentation.

CPE Eligible Sessions

Again this year, we have included the CPE Eligibility section in the submission process this year.  The Healthcare Industry User Group is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. We encourage you to complete the CPE Eligible section to help us decide what sessions we will provide credits for our members.

Interact 2018 Registration

Don't forget to register for Interact 2018!  The conference will be at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ on June 17-20, 2018.  Save now with the Early Bird Registration Rates until April 27.
