Hotel and Travel Information The HIUG has negotiated a special guestroom rate of $199 per night for conference attendees, which will be available through June 1, 2012 or until the room block is sold out. Make your hotel reservations early, so you are able to take advantage of this excellent opportunity for savings. Your hotel confirmation number will be required in order for the special discount to be applied to your conference registration. Reservations can be guaranteed with a credit/debit card at time of reservation. A charge of one night room and tax ($223.88) will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival. Please ensure that funds are available to cover the deposit amount, or your reservation will be cancelled and not be re-instated at the group rate. To avoid a penalty of one night, the reservation must be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival. No-shows will not be refunded. After June 1, 2012 or once the HIUG room block is sold to capacity, hotel reservations will be based upon availability and current hotel rates. Do not book a room directly with the hotel as you will not receive the lowered conference rate.

Air Travel & Ground Transportation Orlando International Airport (MCO) GROUND TRANSPORTATION The hotel does not provide shuttle service. The hotel is approximately 12 miles (15 minutes) from the Orlando International Airport. Conference attendees may select from any of the transportation services offered by Mears Transportation. However, HIUG has made arrangements with Mears for a specially discounted motor shuttle rate for conference attendees of just $25 round trip per adult from Orlando International Airport to the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel.
