HIUG offers communities that focus on specific products and modules. Within each community, you can connect with other members through forums and blogs, learn within the file libraries, and share on the monthly Community Calls. Below is a short description for each Community
One of the major strengths of the HIUG is its ability to speak as a single voice to Oracle on key issues affecting the healthcare sector in the context of the Oracle product lines. Outside of the conference, much of HIUG's effort is focused on the gathering and consolidation of product challenges, issues, and opportunities through day to day interaction with its membership and Oracle. This work is done by the HIUG Community. The current list of HIUG Communities consists of: Data Analytics (DA), Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Financial Management (FM), and Technology & Tools (TECH). It is through daily e-mails, monthly conference calls, and special events that the Communities develop and strengthen their role within the community and with our major partner, Oracle. Every day hundreds of exchanges occur on a variety of topics providing a repository of solutions, ideas and fixes.
Each Community Leader will help coordinate the various conference calls and activities for their respective group. Please feel free to participate in any of the conference calls, community activities, forum discussions, product enhancement suggestions, or other activities outlined here.
