Jane Boyer

Jane Boyer is the Senior Director of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), a $14 billion, world renowned, integrated delivery and finance system with more than 68,000 employees. Jane has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has served in various roles throughout her tenure at UPMC. She was instrumental in the evaluation and decision to move to Cloud products and to continue with an Oracle platform. Jane oversees the HRIS technical team which is responsible for supporting PeopleSoft HCM, ELM, Taleo Cloud and related applications. She leads the Organizational Insights and Analytics team responsible for providing reporting and analysis for the system and a centralized data entry and audit team. Jane received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Western Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Joel White
Executive Director
Health IT Now Coalition

Joel White is the Executive Director of the Health IT Now Coalition, a diverse group of organizations representing patients, health providers, health insurers, agents, and brokers, employers and unions that have come together to help integrate information technology into health care.

Mr. White spent twelve years on Capitol Hill as professional staff, during which he helped enact nine laws, including the Medicare Modernization Act, the Deficit Reduction Act, the Tax Reform and Health Care Act, the Trade Act, and the Children’s Health Act.

Mr. White was instrumental in developing the Part D e-prescribing law in the Medicare Modernization Act and in developing legislation that passed the House to promote the adoption and use of health information technology.

Mr. White was the Staff Director of the Ways and Means Health Subcommittee with responsibility for advising Members of Congress and directing staff on all policy issues within the jurisdiction of the Subcommittee. The issues include Medicare, Health Savings Accounts, tax credits for health insurance, HIPAA, mental health parity, and health information technology.

 

Joel P. Hinzman
Senior Director - Government Affairs
Oracle Corporation

Joel Hinzman joined Oracle in November of 2003 as Director of Federal & Legislative Affairs. In this capacity, he represents Oracle to members of Congress and the Executive Branch, and lobbies on issues critical to Oracle’s government business, including National Security, Healthcare and Health IT, Procurement Policy, Appropriations, and other technology issues. From September of 2009 to 2011 Mr. Hinzman was also the head of State and Local Government Affairs for Oracle where he worked with Governors and State Legislatures on issues relating to Oracle’s healthcare and public sector business, as well as issues relating to tax, corporate responsibility, information technology investment, education, and other issues.

Prior to joining Oracle, he was a Political Appointee at the General Services Administration (GSA), where he was the procurement policy advisor to the Administrator, as well as responsible for working on legislation, regulations, and Congressional oversight. He also served on the management boards for two of GSA’s service branches, the Federal Supply Service and the Federal Technology Service, as well as GSA’s Office of Government-wide Policy.

Paco Aubrejuan
Sr. Vice President, PeopleSoft Enterprise Development

Paco Aubrejuan is Senior Vice President of Development for Oracle's PeopleSoft product line. His team is responsible for all aspects of application delivery and maintenance of PeopleSoft products. Prior to this role, Mr. Aubrejuan was Vice President of Industry Product Strategy, responsible for defining the product roadmap for industry solutions across the JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Siebel, and Oracle lines of business. Mr. Aubrejuan joined Oracle through the PeopleSoft acquisition in 2005.

Prior to PeopleSoft, Mr. Aubrejuan was a Senior Manager at Accenture, a leading professional services consulting firm. He was responsible for business and IT strategy, change management, and application implementation within Accenture's Communication Industry group.

Mr. Aubrejuan has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from University of California at Santa Barbara.

 

Rod Johnson
Sr. Vice President, Oracle North America ERP, EPM & SCM Applications Enterprise Business

Rod Johnson is Senior Vice President of Oracle’s North America ERP, EPM & SCM Applications Enterprise Business, which includes sales strategy and global sales support. Mr. Johnson is focused on driving growth and customer success of our Software-as-a-Service businesses by making it easier to evaluate, buy, and adopt the application portfolio. His team is responsible for Cloud Sales efforts of our Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Performance Management and Supply Chain Management product portfolios.

During his 8-year tenure at Oracle, Mr. Johnson has been instrumental in building Oracle’s Industry Solution and Key Account strategy. Mr. Johnson was responsible for the development and go-to-market execution of Oracle’s Industry Solutions, which are end to end offerings targeted at our customers’ most critical business challenges and opportunities.

Prior to Oracle, Mr. Johnson spent 8 years at Gartner Group where he held several key research leadership roles in ERP, E-Commerce and Customer Relationship Management practices. In the role, he was a noted thought leader, consulted with hundreds of Global 2000 clients and regularly spoke at key industry events.
