GENERAL INTERACT 2017 QUESTIONS

What is Interact 2017?

The HIUG Interact Conference is an annual user-driven conference of Oracle application Healthcare users. The conference comprises 600+ attendees, 40+ vendors, and 150+ educational sessions/clinics. Click here to find out more information.

Who can attend Interact 2017?

All employees of Healthcare Institutions, with licensed Oracle/PeopleSoft Enterprise application products. In addition, employees of vendors accepted by the conference as exhibitors may attend.
No other registrations will be accepted.

When is the conference?

The Interact Conference is from June 18-21, 2017.

Where is the conference?

Interact 2017 will be in Orlando, FL at Rosen Shingle Creek.

My company is interested in exhibiting and/or sponsorship for Interact 2017.

Vendors can participate in the conference in several ways: as an exhibitor in the exhibit area, as a conference sponsor, in exhibitor sponsored presentations and as session co-presenters with your clients. How do I get the list of attendees that will be coming to Interact 2017?

You have to be a registered and paid attendee to obtain this list. Go to your Interact registration and login. Click on the Summary tab and then under "Other Attendees" you will be able to search by four different ways. When you register, you can choose whether or not you want your name to appear on this list.

How do I register for Interact 2017?

Please click here and login to start the registration process.

How do I register my boss or someone else?

Click here and select "Register Someone Else". Then enter their last name, email address and your email address. Then answer the remaining questions and pay.

How do I get the Early-Bird rate?

To receive the Early-Bird rate you MUST book a hotel room at the Official Interact Hotel (Rosen Shingle Creek). DO NOT go directly to the hotel to book. Then you will receive your hotel confirmation code to plug into your registration to receive the Early-Bird rate. Your registration must be completed and paid by April 28, 2017.

What is included in the Interact registration rate?

Registration fee per attendee includes Sunday community clinics, admission to all sessions, one Sunday Networking Activity, Sunday welcome reception, Tuesday night Theme Party, continental breakfast and breaks (Monday - Wednesday), and lunch (Monday - Wednesday).

I am not sure if my institution/organization is a member of HIUG. How do I check?

What currency is the registration fee in?

The registration fee is in US Dollars. Payment must be in US Dollars.

Will checks/cheques be accepted On-site?

No, checks will not be accepted on-site. The only method of payment accepted on-site will be credit cards. Please make sure you pay for your registration before arriving to the conference. There will only be a limited amount of On-site registrations and there is the chance that the conference may sell out. We encourage you to register before the conference starts to receive the best rate.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and check/cheque.

How do I request a registration transfer?

Please download and fill out this form. Then email it to interact@hiug.org

How do I request for a refund?

Please provide a written notice of cancellation sent via email to  interact@hiug.org. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the conference.

Attendee registration substitution/transfer will be allowed at any time, at no cost

A $75 cancellation fee will be applied. and require written notice of cancellation via email to Interact Support.
May 19, 2017 and after - No refunds for cancellations nor will they be given for no-shows.

Can I bring a guest to Interact?

No, you cannot bring a guest to Interact

SESSION QUESTIONS

How can I become a speaker at Interact?

Call for Proposals open on November 7, 2016 and are due by February 10, 2017. The conference committee will not accept late session proposals. Thanks for your interest in delivering quality learning to our members!

I am a speaker and need to make changes to my presentation. Who do I contact?

Where should I book my hotel?

Interact 2017 housing will be at Rosen Shingle Creek.  Please click here to make your hotel reservations. Please DO NOT go to the hotel directly to book your room. You will need to book through the hotel link and use that acknowledgement/confirmation code to receive the Early Bird Rate for your registration.

Email and voicemails will be answered as soon as possible between Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time Zone in United States UTC/GMT -07:00.

I have a food allergy. Who do I contact?

This will be asked during the conference registration form. If you have more questions or concerns please email  interact@hiug.org. Please note we do our best to accommodate special meal request.
