The Houston Methodist Cancer Center has set a goal of growth of 24% over five years. The Cancer Center Dashboard helps the Houston Methodist Cancer Center measure and monitor quality, service and efficiency metrics across the cancer service line to attain the goal. The executives use the dashboard to monitor performance and trends, make adjustments, compare the five hospitals and learn from each other to improve outcomes and performance.The dashboard presents standardized cancer specific key performance indicators (KPIs) for the overall System and the five hospitals with drill-down to encounter level detail. A key feature of the dashboard is the integration of metrics sourced from internal Methodist systems along with patient satisfaction results from the external Press Ganey system.
