We all want happy and productive end-user customers, right? The ability of the MIS department to listen, objectively evaluate, and deliver is the key to that happy and productive end-users! At the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, we always attempt to engage the end-users to solicit their valuable knowledge, address issues they have encountered, and evaluate ideas on how to best utilize the PeopleSoft System. This session will explore some of the issues and ideas we have received, and how we accommodated and overcame them through business process changes, release of new features and even, yes, the dirty word “customizations”. Modules covered in this discussion will include Inventory, Accounts Payable and Purchasing. Some of the topics we will delve into are: creating Vendor address hovers to pages, adding useful and timely information to pages such as the Available Inventory Quantity by Stocking UOM, displaying the GHX vendor number to the Vendor page, and inserting Inventory Item information to the Define Item page, and more!
