HIUG Executive Strategy Council
The HIUG Executive Strategy Council is a community of healthcare technology leaders within the Healthcare Industry User Group (HIUG). Composed of over 60 healthcare providers and partner organizations, the Council promotes partnership, collaboration, and sharing of best practices in healthcare technology strategy and Oracle Solutions for future healthcare technology capabilities.
Participants in the Executive Strategy Council (ESC) are a diverse consortium of healthcare executives, decision-makers, influencers, and from various healthcare organizations provide a deep knowledge of technology strategy and the day-to-day business operations for to Healthcare delivery. They offer expertise in the application of Oracle technologies in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Data/Analytics products, as well as knowledge in other functional areas which are key in effective healthcare operating systems.
The Council’s quarterly meetings - two in-person and two via conference calls - serve as an open platform for executives and industry experts to discuss future technology needs and strategic direction, share current capabilities for delivering effective technology, and address technology concerns confronting healthcare executives today. The HIUG Matching Process Interest Group has been established to identify matching process pain points. Matching is an important part in the Procure to Pay (P2P) process. Companies can realize great benefits financially by streamlining the matching process. Matching is an effective control to ensure that companies pay at the right time for the right items. The group will dig deep into system and business processes to find best practices and system gaps. Gaps can then be logged by the SIG as enhancement requests with Oracle.
The HIUG Mobile Inventory Special Interest Group has been established to provide knowledge, ideas and enhance the business processes related to mobile inventory. The SIG is a forum for emails related to mobile inventory and will host calls on mobile inventory as well.
The Recruiting Solutions Special Interest Group has been established to provide knowledge, ideas and enhance the business processes related to Recruiting Solutions Recruiting/OBI.
