HIUG Executive Community
The HIUG Executive Strategy Council is a community healthcare technology leaders within the Healthcare Industry User Group (HIUG) focused on partnering, sharing, and collaborating with each other and Oracle Solutions to guide and influence the current and future healthcare technology capabilities and development strategy of Oracle products in Finance, Supply chain and Human Resources.
The Executive Strategy Council represents large and small healthcare providers and related partners with over 75 represented healthcare organizations.
The Executive Strategy Council membership consists of a diverse consortium of Executives, decision makers, and influencers from various Healthcare organizations with deep knowledge of healthcare technology strategies, business operations capabilities, and Oracle products in Finance, Human Resources, Supply chain, and Data / Analytics as well as related other functional areas key to the effective healthcare operating systems.
The Financials Community is a great forum for connecting with other healthcare organizations in sharing ideas, collaborating on issues impacting your organization in areas of Finance, and educating members on the Oracle Financial applications. GL Department Close, Process Enhancements
The purpose of this special interest group is to address some of the gaps on the process of closing a department within the PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL) module. The healthcare finance group expressed interest in improving how to close a GL department. Many time’s transactions continue to flow to the GL department that we are trying to close out. These transactions come from many sources. We hope to meet frequently over the next year with the community to develop an enhancement request to improve this process.
The HIUG Mobile Inventory Special Interest Group has been established to provide knowledge, ideas and enhance the business processes related to mobile inventory. The SIG is a forum for emails related to mobile inventory and will host calls on mobile inventory as well.
The HIUG Oracle Cloud Special Interest Group has listservs focused on Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud and Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Finance Cloud. The focus of the group is to provide training for those moving to the Cloud and information for those that are in the decision making process.
The Taleo Special Interest Group has been established to provide knowledge, ideas and enhance the business processes related to Taleo Recruiting/OBI. Join this Special Interest Group (SIG) to compare challenges, share solutions, ask questions surrounding this topic with other HIUG members that have similar interests and experiences.
