I hope this message finds all of you taking time to rejuvenate, enjoying some time away with family and friends, and finding ways to stay cool as we go through the dog days of summer. It has been a little over a month since Interact 22, which was our first in person event since Interact 2019. I am happy to report that it was a successful conference and it was great to see so many of you in person again and meet so many new attendees. The energy and excitement were palpable and the conversations lively. This was the most interactive conference I have been to. I left the event full of new found energy and drive to take back ideas and solutions I learned there that will be meaningful for my organization. I want to thank everyone who attended, participated, sponsored and organized this event.
A special shout out to your HIUG Board for their time, effort and leadership in leading our user group all year and for the additional hours they put in to deliver a highly successful conference. Thank You!
In addition to the conference update, I am elated to report that the number of HIUG member organizations who are either using Cloud applications or are implementing them has been steadily increasing. Jane Boyer and Tara Stone Gill have done a fabulous job in leading the Cloud HCM and Cloud FIN/SCM communities respectively. Thanks to them we are seeing increasing engagement and participation in both communities. Recognizing this growth and to better serve the needs of these two growing communities, the HIUG Board has add a Co-Chair positions to each of them. Similar to the PeopleSoft communities, both Cloud Applications communities will now have 2 Co-Chairs.
Lastly, I want to share the following personnel changes to your HIUG Board.
- Jennifer Beeching, Parkview Health was appointed to fill the open PeopleSoft HCM Co-Chair position.
- Gloria Brewster, Atlantic Health System, was appointed to the newly created Cloud HCM Co-Chair position.
Welcome Jennifer and Gloria to the HIUG Board, thank you for stepping forward and volunteering to serve in your new roles.
Ravi Inaganti – HIUG President
